A new customer (Health Unit) expressed concern that eHelpers (staff) can see students other than their assigned clients, as well as reports. I know we service other health units, ministries of children and families, etc, and I could see our customer base further diversifying in the future. Rather than building individual "school" accounts per eHelper in Monarch to try and solve this problem (which creates quite a bit of aligned extra data in Salesforce that can be confusing) and this still does not solve the issue of them being able to see students reports (in some cases, customers only want eHelpers bringing a student to the chair, nothing else) - could you explore adding account control settings in Monarch? For example, a way for us to limit an eHelper account to not see reports. Or, to only see specific students, etc.
Hi, Thanks for sharing your idea! While your idea has merit, implementing e-helper-student assignments would increase operational complexity and risks due to potential staff turnover.
To address this, a confidentiality agreement document that e-helpers sign may help ensure data privacy and establish clear expectations for handling sensitive information.
This issues has also impacted a few more customers:
BC - Hertiage Christian: Case Managers have to use Monarch Guardian accounts since they're only allowed to see their assigned students' information.
INT-Guam: We created school accounts for Case Managers so they only see their students (e.g., Part C - Case Manager 1, Part C - Case Manager 2).
